BMW buy back on my own or go with and Attorney?

I have a 2011 Bmw 135I Lease and 3 times now the driver door fails to open from either side. It has been to the shop x2 and just had its 3rd occurrence this weekend.. I called BMW customer service and they said "bring it back in so we can diagnosis it" I wasn't happy with that answer, i want a new 1 series or them to take it back.. so i called an attorney who is telling me "don't bring it back, sign a retainer and will get you out and some $$$ but it will take time" "this door is a big safety issue so don't even drive it".... What do you guys think should i try calling BMW and telling them if they don't submit im going with the attorney ??
